Our Quoting Process
The first step in beginning your interior protection project is to get in touch with any member of the Nusens Team. You can reach out via phone call, email, or schedule an online or in-person meeting – whatever works best for you. During this initial communication, our experienced team will work with you to understand the specifics of your project. Don't worry if you're unsure about what type of interior protection you need; we're here to guide you through the process. We'll discuss the various options available, outline their benefits, and explain how each system works.
Following this, we'll schedule a site visit to your location and ask you for any plans or construction documents that you have surrounding your project. This allows us to accurately assess the scope of the project, identify any unique variables that require special attention, and start working on a detailed proposal.
Even though our staff will take site measurements themselves, here are a few of the factors that we need to determine:
What type of Interior Protection does your project require?
- Does this project require a standard ceiling containment system or should leak diverters and/or debris netting be included for water/larger objects?
- Are there any existing leaks or problem areas?
What is the heigh of your roof deck?
- Are there any specialized systems, ceiling fans, conduits, electrical or mechanical stacks that need to be worked around?
- What kind of machinery will be needed to install the ceiling containment system?
- What is the width of that machinery and will it fit through the entrance into the building and all necessary rooms
- Are there any weight limitations for machinery and is floor protection required?
- Is there a safe staging/storage area where Nusens’ machinery and materials can be left to charge during non-working hours?
Are there any closures or downtimes during which we can install our interior containment systems?
- If not, we will need to create a plan to work in phases around and/or over top of your working environment.
When is the construction or re-roofing expected to begin?
- It is important to ensure that each client understands that we need sufficient time to install our system before your project begins.
Our goal is to ensure that our work seamlessly integrates with your property's daily schedule, minimizing disruption to your operations.
Once the above-mentioned information has been determined, our Estimating Team works diligently to put together a detailed proposal that is submitted to you before the predetermined deadline.
Job Awarded & Project Mobilization
Typical Installation
Upon agreeing on the scope of your project, your signing of our detailed proposal and our receipt a Purchase Order (PO), our Production Team schedules your project. Although advanced notice is greatly appreciated, Nusens’ typical mobilization time is within a week of receiving your PO.
During our scheduling process, we collaborate with you to create a detailed plan for the installation process. This involves determining an ideal schedule for installation which considers work hours, delivery of equipment, and sets the expectation for typical project timelines. Throughout the project, we maintain proactive communication through daily email updates which include pictures. Our team is happy to communicate as often or as little as you would like, making sure to remain accessible to accommodate any questions or change-orders that might arise.
Removal Begins
Once the project is completed, our team doesn't just pack up and leave. We take care of the removal process as well. Our team will efficiently remove all interior protection, ensuring that any dirt, dust, or debris remains contained in our system and is disposed of accordingly, leaving your space clean and ready for use.
